This week we are moving beyond the basics and challenging our skills to add an INTERACTIVE feel to your evolving PowerPoint! I apologize as I will have to end class this week at 7:30 PM for another meeting I will be attending at Fort Washington Elementary School. The plan for class will be to use our existing (working) powerpoints from assignment #1 and build off of them during class. For those who don't get the homework quite complete, no worries! We can use any one of the presentations posted under assignment upload. Below is a brief overview of the topics/actions we will cover:
Creating a visual metaphor for our presentation
Hyperlinking internally our content using a 3 tiered approach
Embedding video content within our slide(s)- both as a video file and as an external link (www.keepvid.com)
Creating a wordle to represent slide content (www.wordle.net)
Inserting an interactivce quiz slide (using google docs and/or the visual basic editor code)
The agenda is a bit ambitious, we will see how far we get and finish up anything we don't get to the week after our Prezi presentation. See you soon!
